Thought on Restored, cover reglossed

Anyone ever owned a book with a reglossed cover? I was wondering about how they age over time.

I've got a copy of planet #1 that was re-glossed prior to my owning it.

 

Other than the slight roughness to the touch, it's a superb book.

 

I have not noticed any difference in the 16 years I've had it.

This book has sure accumulated a lot of dirt for a reglossed cover!
