ART DAY: Brian Bolland JUDGE DREDD Cover

There's a thread in the OA Marketplace that has been referencing Brian Bolland's JUDGE DREDD covers. This is as good a time as any to show off my latest acquisition:

This is from 2000 A.D. MONTHLY, a reprint anthology for the U.S. featuring all the best stories from 2000 A.D. in the U.K.. This series lasted six issues before the most popular feature, JUDGE DREDD, got his own reprint title here in the U.S..The gag covers from that run are the ones that everyone remembers. But Bolland alternated the gag covers with serious covers (including a very memorable one with bullets ricocheting off Dredd and his bike). This would be an earlier "serious" cover.
