it's $405/week in NY (I guess it may depend on how much you were making before you got fired, so it could potentially be less) and I have to say that some days it's really tempting! And then I realize that's about half of my minimum monthly expenses --- I'd have to be selling a lot of comics to make up the difference!

That's got to be a tough road. I hope you have enough books to keep the lights on for a while. I guess it is a renewable resource, but you have to keep buying to be able to sell. The never ending story.
