This issue retells the origin. It is 2nd issue after the new look uniforms, but they are

only seen on a few pages.

 

 

 

Of the issues I own this is my favorite cover.

 

 

 

Those BlackHawks are cool and they have many great covers but my budget

isn't quite ready for another series to collect.

 

A few more books heading my way and the first one is like an old friend

coming home and I bought it as a VF+ or possibly a VF/NM off one of the

most respected dealers around. I believe I sold it as the same grade and

the board member had it slabbed. I'm not sure what flaws CGC found and

I sure was very pleased with it.

 

 

This issue is great to have back in my collection and I included my original

copy as a freebie to "Subliminal" on one of my few sales threads.

I hear you on collecting focus. I for one have too many series started and lately have been working primarily on just two titles.

Some books I received last year where I couldn't borrow or steal the seller's

scan and now I have this fancy used scanner. I couldn't sleep after a late call

into work and want to eventually scan all my favorite books.

 

Nothing special but I love them.

PS: Are the boards having some techincal difficulties or glitches because I

posted that OAAW 182 yesterday and the post wouldn't appear and then

I noticed it was posted twice this morning, so I deleted one and now there

both gone. Or maybe I'm still hungover.

Thanks Andy! You are right, they are great and usually after you post

some books like that Mr.Bedrock drops a few CGC 8.5 10 centers

Speaking of Andy. You sure had an intense war sales thread

and it was like war in there.

 

 

Thank you so much for making so many incredible books available

to the boards at some fantastic prices. If only I didn't go out drinking

like I was young again and I'm sure I would have more books to pay

for and add to my growing collection if I just stayed home Friday night.
