I have no idea how the red on the back cover would affect the grade.

Sharp book. The red ink is borderline unsightly, and may bother many. The dirt along the spine BC would probably clean up - can't tell. The combination of the two work against each other. Keep it in Mylar . . .

 

Grade? Could be an 8.0 - would have to see it.

I'd say 7.0/7.5...the front looks good, but seems to have a bit of dirt in the price box & logo, plus the issues with BC. Still nice.

It does bother me a little but it does not affect the story and I paid close to nothing for the book. I think it was $1 or $2.

I would give it a 7.5. The ink spray won't affect the grade just the appearance.
