No, as NM- is a 9.2

 

It's not VG/Fine -, or G/VG-, or Fair/Good - is it?

nah, by that logic it could also be a VF+/NM-

 

VF VF+ VF/NM NM- NM makes good sense. Since the 'major grades; are VF and NM, and the other three are shades of these two, it makes sense that the point in the middle of the two is a mixture of them (VF/NM) , and the other two reference the nearest 'major grade', either + or - from them.
