So did anybody manage to get any good deals? There seemed to be a few nice pages - do Vault normally have a nice selection of OA?

This was the best selection they have had, by far, in the last couple of years. Usually they have 2-3 really good pieces each time sometimes as many as 5...this time it was a feast.

 

I got a watchmen page from them last year and some other items. Nice guys.

They usually have some nice pieces here and there, but this time with Conrad and others consigning some art into the auction, it definitely raised its profile and gave a boost as far as depth and significance of pages. And they had some nice UK-owned pieces surface too.

 

Some of the prices realized seemed on the low side (to me) compared to auctions of comparable pages somewhere like Heritage. Maybe that's due to them being located in the UK or perhaps not as widely known as Heritage? I'm curious about what others think regarding that.

 

Regarding your original question, I didn't bid on anything -- I'm pacing myself But I think somebody got a nice FF3 page for a very decent price.
