SELLING COMIC BOOK COLLECTION Over 85% BELOW Guide

After 17 years of collecting I am selling my comic book collection.

I will be selling it one box at a time. Each box will have about 200 - 250 comics and be worth about $1000 - $1100. The comics are from the 70's - 90's. There is nothing too expensive in the collection, obviously if a 250 count box averages $1050, but there are some $10+ books. Each box will be sold for $150, so that's more than 85% below guide. If you buy 5 boxes I will sell them for $125 each, and if you buy 10 boxes I will sell them for $100 each. Lastly if you buy them all (about 40 I will sell them for $90 each. I will ship these anyway you like. You can pick them up, or you can even have me drive them down (within 1000 miles of Detroit) at only the cost of the rental vehicle & gas. I live an hour and a half from Detroit. If you do pick them up or I drop them off there are an additional 40 boxes of 1975-1985 stuff I purchased as a seperate collection we could talk about.

 

The entire collection has been alpha-numericalized. There are mostly Marvel and DC with a bit of Indep in there There are not any doubles. So the first box I had (which is already sold) had Action 430-600 plus some other comics up to Advanced D & D. There are no comics in Poor, Fair or Good. Additionally the only VG and Fn stuff is in the 1970's books. Most of the stuff is unread and in NM condition.

 

I have plently of references including Terry O'Neil etc. My ebay rating (comic_nut) is 100%. I am also selling boxes locally so don't wait too long to buy. Just PM me with how many boxes you want and of course you can specify which box you want (a box with Batman).

 

I will begin by listing one of the boxes, first come first serve unless you buy in bulk. I will email winners Friday, and then Sunday and daily after.

Absolutely true, but you can't log on to the boards without being bombarded with pressing threads. Are there any forums where the subject of pressing/Matt hasn't turned up?

I know that people don't care. I am one of them. His name is everywhere right now and it is hard to miss a pressing thread. I actually like Matt and think he is a good guy.
