A Lighthouse Update

A brief update on my client and Lighthouse

 

Back in April, Lighthouse contacted the Bexar County

Dispute Resolution Center (a non-profit agency) to

seek mediation with my client. My client accepted, and

after some scheduling conflicts, the two parties met

via conference call on May 19th. Counsel represented

neither party. In spite of some initial tension, a

very productive mediation session followed. An

agreement was reached on repayment terms and interest

charges. Lighthouse agreed to pay all collection and

legal costs should he default on the terms. My client

agreed not to pursue legal action as long as the terms

are met.

 

My client has successfully deposited a check for a

good amount in the time frame outlined in the

mediation. The payment was in the top range of

payments outlined in the mediation.

 

I will let you know when the debt reaches its halfway

mark and the debt is paid off in its entirety. Other

than that, neither myself, my client nor Lighthouse

will rehash the matter on the boards unless things

change materially. My client would like to thank the

members of this board for their support and friendship

throughout this ordeal
