Need some scanner advice please.

Does anyone know of a good price point scanner for scanning slabs? I am looking for a scanner only.

I recently lost my regular all-in -one HP to lightning. I got a new one through product replacement at HP, but the new one (model: 6210) does not scan slabs well. It seems like the scanner focuses on the surface of the slab and not the comic, creating blurry scans.

11 x 17 microtek model x12, It may be out of stock now, got it at staples online and picked it up locally. you can see the scanns on my site, regular books are 100 dpi reduced 50% and higher grade books are 100 dpi reduced 25%.Does CGC magazines too! I think it cost 250, it scans quick, has a hinged cover for thick books and is the best sanner I have owned. works on all operating systems.

I use HP 7400c it scans the whole slab, the only way you can find it now is on Ebay.

I use the HP Scanjet 8200

Best scanner I know of.

You can find refurbished ones on flea bay cheap

Ask Ronm3 about his Microtek, I think he has been pleased with it plus it get all of the slab.
