Why does the back cover look blank?

 

Working off the front scan only, I would say maybe 3.0 There is a lot of general wear, no gloss, edges are looking frayed

With the tape pulls and spine splits I'd guess solid 2.0, maybe 2.5 if the colors look better in hand. (By the by, this is just the regular Annual #2, no "KS".)

By the by . . . what does the indicia say? King Size? or Annual? or Both?

 

Whatever it says, is the correct title.

Why does the back cover look blank?

 

The so-called "Canadian edition" of these early "King-size" books (see Marvel Tales #1, et al.) have no ads on either the back or inside cover. I doubt the designation is accurate as I've obtained such copies from original sources in the deep South.
