Did anyone end up getting the London Mart WATCHMEN page?

This seller sold at least another one from the same issue, at about the same price, with very little bidding.

Aggressive price for that second page. Small Dr. Manhattan only. It is from my favorite chapter, though.

He owned at one time the last four pages in that chapter. He tried earlier to sell them privately all at once for 15000 pounds. Nobody bit so he's now selling them one by one on Ebay (for considerably less). I actually like the page before this one better. He sold it a couple of months ago for 2000 pounds if I remember correctly.

Guys, there was a chap selling a piece of Watchmen art at the last London mart - not sure of the issue or page I'm afraid - but it was a nine panel piece with Roschach just before he killed the dog - and had a couple of full figure panels.

 

It was in mint condition and framed.

 

He wanted "at least £1,000"...

 

good price, what do you reckon?

Wow, that sold quickly. Wish I had seen it when it was available. Of course knowing the seller, it was probably priced well over market.

I love that page though.....and you're right, I am sure it was aggressively priced !
