the batman reprint i got was in perfectly good shape. maybe just got lucky. i'll keep an eye out for these. i generally don't buy the post because it's a rabid right wing paper, but it's only 25 cents so sometimes i break down when i want to read the sports section or crime blotter.

Difference is that most Sunday papers cost much more. NY Post is 25 cents in NYC,Sunday Post is $1.00(?)

 

As far as condition goes,these are not inserted at the retail level. I know this because I bought several bundles of the Spidey book and they were already included before they hit the trucks.Condition was much better than I'd expected with almost all copies being 9.4 or better.

 

There will be a series of these books,hope they keep them in the dailys,instead of the Sunday edition.

Agreed, the last Superman comic was in pretty good condition around a 9.4 as well and the post is cheap..

Book is being distributed by 122 newspapers. Shouldn't be difficult to find a copy anywhere.

It will be interesting to see if there are any differences in the copies-ie,will each copy have a blurb pushing that paper.

That's what i do. Collect every ASM including promo's, reprints and variants. It's my main collecting focus.
