A former collector who lives her locally bought Steve Geppi's hand picked file copy in the early 1990s for $800!

That's no surprise to me.

That book came out a year before FF #1.

It's the Siver Age equivalent of Archie #1,

all the Richie Rich's were read to death,

most that survive are in pretty beat up shape.

 

That's a very nice copy.

Richie Rich, Casper,and all those other cartoony characters are hot now and will get hotter....these are the books to be investing in...JMO....

Richie Rich #1, a little over 20 years ago, was the 9th most valuable Silver Age book. Ahead of every Showcase but #4, X-Men #1, etc.

I think u mean Harvey Hits #3 1st Richie Rich cover. Sadly, I sold my Little Dot #1 (1st app. Richie) file copy about 3 yrs ago pre-Cgc. I believe it was Nadia Mannarino's cherry-picked copy from Comics & Stories' stash of Harvey files.

thanx, I was confused. I meant Little Dot #1 for first appearance, not HH3 for first cover, but mixed up the titles and issue #s.
