Do you have Strange Tales Annual #2 in your collection/ wishlist? With Stan writing, Jack Kirby penciling, and Steve Ditko inking, it sure seems like a must. What's the general consensus?

 

(And no, I'm personally not looking to buy one anytime soon. I have a fun uber low-grade grail I'm looking at, and a key from Piper).

 

It's the 4th apperance of Spider-Man coming out just before issue 3.

It's a must have.

Grail first, Piper next, and ... I need to check my message box to see who else I might be making purchases from (Jon, haven't forgotten about that SSM 2 ;) ). :grin:

 

Yeah, I definitely think it falls into the greater Spider-Man canon just as we think of Secret Wars as playing an important role in the development of the Venom character/story arc. All the more so with ST:A 2 due to it being the early appearance of Spidey.

Hey now, who said it had stopped? :whistle: ASM 31 is a great book and really underrated as far as I'm concerned. 1st appearance of two major Spidey characters- I'm surprised it doesn't make more lists :shrug: To be fair though, most SA ASM collectors will point out this run as one of Stan and Steve's best offerings in their time together.

 

And it's dedicated to US, so you can't beat that!
