2008 GPA Avg of 12 sales was $294!

Last GPA recorded sale Dec 2009 was $194 with a $206 Avg last 12 mos for 7 book sales...

 

What is going on...was there a warehouse find or something??!! (shrug)

 

OW Pages can really kill a common HG BA book.

 

I know it would for me as I wouldn't even buy it OW in the SA.

Still you don't see many ASMs less than issue 100 drop 1/3 across the board from $300 avg to $200 avg and then a book go for well less than half from an avg price just a year prior...SA ASMs are supposed to increase in value not drop drastically by 1/3 or more... hm

I've been laid up with a bad back most of the last few months and have been unable to scan a bunch of great new Spideys I've gotten, but here's one I just had to get scanned. Quite a nice endcap for my Spidey run!

Oh I meant to add though...it's got OFF-WHITE pages...Spidey-on-tilt would turn his nose up... :insane:

 

I checked on this before I bought it--even though the label style is new, this book was graded in 2001 or 2002 when they were still using old label styles; it was reholdered in approximately 2005, which is why it has the new style label. I know this because the book used to belong to a board member who is a friend of mine in 2004/2005, and I traced whose hands it went through after that. I also have a scan of the book from 2004 where it's in an old-style holder with the same serial number. So it's possible it would grade with better PQ today, although I have no plans on resubmitting anytime soon. The book is also unpressed, which is obvious because there are multiple non-color-breaking creases on the back cover that would come out with a pressing.

How about I'll trade your AF15 7.0 ow/w for it. Wait a minute...there almost equal. Hey...AF15 7.0 ow/w (best 7.0 in the world), SC22 8.5 crm/ow (3rd best in the world), and AMS 1 9.0 ow (best 9.0 in the world). SC22 6.0 white pages ??? Brannon, if you have ever saw my SC22 6.0 white pager...you would be amazed of how white it is.
