Okay, you ASM fiends. It's been brought up before, but it seems like it's been a while...

Who has a complete run of ASM on some level?

#1-50?

#1-100?

#1-200?

#1-300?

#1-328?

#1-441? (silverweb, for one, take a bow :gossip:)

#1-present?

Chime in if you have some kind of sweet ASM run...OR if you're really close (say, less than 10 issues ). Or chime in if you know of a boardie who has a complete run but doesn't drop in as frequently.

Full run. 1-441, and on to the current issue.

Of the books 1-400, all are slabbed save for 3.

After my sales to fund the #1 purchase, I have a few more holes to fill.

I need 11 - 18 in 7.0, 20 - 27 & 29 in 8.0, 36 & 37 in 9.0 for right now to finish my Ditko slabs.

I would like to get a nice #50 CGC 9.0, but I am almost afraid to do it as then I would be compelled to fill slabs around it...

I think I should stick to raw readers from 40 & up except the few keys I have:

Amazing Spider-Man 100 9.0

Amazing Spider-Man 121 9.0 (I need to find a #122 9.0 to finish this two parter)

Amazing Spider-Man 129 9.0

Amazing Spider-Man 194 9.0

Amazing Spider-Man 238 9.8

Amazing Spider-Man 252 9.8

Amazing Spider-Man 300 9.8

In any case, I don't feel the need to make any big purchases for a few months at least. The chase for the #1 really burned me out.

I've started putting an entire run (AF15 - 620) together around May of last year. As of right now I am about 21 issues away from completing it. The first 20 issues including AF #15 are all unrestored and slabbed between 4.0 - 7.0's. AF15 is the only exception at 1.5. The rest of the Silver Age books are all raw and averages around 6.0 - 7.0. The Bronze Age averages around 9.0 and moderns are around 9.2 - 9.4.

I am still missing the following books.

ASM #5, 6, 11, 12, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 39, 41, Annual 1, Annual 3

332, 341 and 392. Nuisance books that I'm reluctant to pay over $40-$60 for. Patience is a 'virue', as Michael Golden says.

Besides those 3, all the run from 150-400 are 9.8s save for 4 books in 9.6.

Brian's collection is just sick! I keep trying to buy his undercopies... :tonofbricks:

Anybody have any clue as to why the last ASM 58 CGC 9.4 sold for $1733 in NOV 2009? And the 2009 average for 3 books = $998. Is this book that difficult? And/or any special significance to ASM collectors?

It's in the middle of the pack issues 1-100 as far as scarcest in 9.4 or better on the list I researched awhile back in this thread... (shrug)

That was a great list you compiled, by the way.

Congrats again on that #14 pick-up. :applause:
