It never ceases to amaze me how varied our opinions are on covers. I, too, would give # 2 a 5. Same goes for 21, 25, and 26. On my list....no issue without a Ditko cover could ever go beyond a 4 :baiting: GOD BLESS...

Just because it is a Ditko cover does not automatically qualify it for a 5 ranking.

 

#21 is god awful with the beetle on the cover.

I know you must be loving that sweet 6 you just picked up. I used to own Burntboy's copy( 8.0 ) and still regret selling it. In a way...it might be my favorite of the Ditko issues ( cover and interior)......but 13, 19, 25, and 26 give it a run for my money. GOD BLESS...

Well that's just with respect to the art and subjects...you could be right in terms of toughness with regards to color preservation, not sure! (thumbs u

Got the book from John R (TempusFugitivus) today...except for the abrasion/color loss at top spine corner this book is easily a 9.2...borderline 9.4! :headbang:

 

The only other visible wear on the book is a couple of teeny specs of color loss at bottom spine corner and edge at the red arrow...perfect spine...perfect registration with perfectly centered staples...and white back cover and WHITE pages! :cloud9:

The little fuzzy top corner represents the classic issue for color touch should this book have gotten in the hands of the wrong person...i.e., the book is so near perfect that someone might have been readily tempted to fill that little corner in...it's probably my nicest ASM now... :headbang:
