Why? In most cases....the structural grade & PQ is superior to books of the same grade with new labels.

Don't care much about what the label says. (um?)

I mostly just worry about the books inside.

That's what I just said. Buying an old label 9.2 will give you a nicer book than buying a new label one.

Agreed. Though I was talking more about shipping concerns, etc.
