So who to sympathize with. The paratrooper who is getting attacked by some magical super being who can fly? Or Superman?

 

Then again the paratrooper is a Nazi and he looks mean.

that's one of my favorites as well, .. when you hit the lottery, you can start buying all the original art with paratroopers on them,.. sky is the limit. :headbang:

Thanks Tat! Part of the fun of this collection is gathering books from different genre's and titles. Gives me a little taste of all comicdom, rather than a limited view of say just collecting a certain title.

 

Look through the entire thread, if you haven't already, I'm sure you'll find more books you haven't seen before.

At first I didn't think this book fit my collection. From the small scans I saw in the Gerber guides I thought it was just a pilot entering his aircraft, but he's wearing a full paratrooper harness, complete with bowie knife that jumpmasters wear.

UPDATE:

 

Just got the word from CW at Fantastic Comics that I indeed got Lily Renee's signature on three GA books! Considering the fact that SDCC was packed and Lily Renee only was present on a Panel and not a booth, this is a fantastic feat for a dealer to perform for a first time customer! Top Notch seller and would be buying from again and again. Will post the CGC SS trooper books when they get back, and suffice it to say they'll be probably the only CGC SS's book signed from Lily Renee....ever.
