As a longer-term member, I wonder the same thing. The marketplace as currently configured is too clutterred with bronze/silver stuff for me to bother checking it, which becomes a chicken/egg problem, as I don't post things for sale there (instead consigning them to Metro or whomever) because I don't think a lot of GA posters frequent that forum.
