Back in early 1973 Stan Lee was once again enjoying the dawn of "The Marvel Age of Comics." However, this time it was in the UK.

In mid February, Stan Lee launched his follow up comic to The Mighty World Of Marvel. It was called "Spider-Man Comics Weekly."

The huge success of MWOM had led to this spin-off. Spider-Man and Thor led the way in the new comic, leaving FF, Hulk and Daredevil to occupy the older title.

Here are some early front and back covers from Spider-man Comics Weekly. These were exciting times both for Stan and the young comic readers...
