help with this ASM 28

i'll take a stab... tough book to grade, i have one myself and have a hard time with it... ASM 28 is a hard one...

 

6.5 i'll say on yours... and maybe a wee tad better?

What on earth keeps this out of the fine range? (just asking)

 

The cover scuff brings it down, but no further than 6.0-6.5 in my opinion. The stress marks of this type is common for "Fine" books..

I agree. This is a black cover and it will show every little smudge, crease and wear spot. The book presents well and looks to be a good 6.5 candidate to me.
