I think this whole pressing thing is over the top. It's like a conspiracy theory to find a pressed book. So it was pressed, big deal. It was pressed in the first place to cause it to be crooked. That's why it needed a press, to get back to normal!

And I'd like to take this thought further: I think this whole restoration thing is over the top. So what if a book has been "trimmed". That's what the printer did at the presses to separate each book page from the newsprint roll. And this "color touch" thing - big deal. The book needed 4 colors in the first place, to get it to normal. confused-smiley-013.gif

 

And as to "pieces added" - well, doesn't CGC add pieces to the whole package when they encapsulate and label a book sent to them? Look how much perceived value is added when those capsules and labels are "added". 27_laughing.gif
