TMNT's????

Just wondering? Are early (like 1-4) first print issues of TMNT's rare or hard to find? Seems like I read in Overstreet guide that they are making a comeback.

My two boys (11 and 8) still like the TMNT movies. Maybe younger viewers of the movies and animated series would be interested in the characters origin and look for the early comics

The original TMNT's are real hard to find. I heard the first printing of the first issue only had 500 copies. But I think it was reprinted like 8 times?

Pretty sure your number is low. Doesn't Overstreet list the print run for the early issues?

I'm too lazy to check too!

 

I think the PR for the 1st print was 3,000 copies. (I bought one!) For the 2nd print it was 6,000 copies (I bought two, to keep my 1/3000th ownership ratio!). After that... who cares?
