is asm 106 hard to find in hg? why?

considering 105 has 189 total gradded books. 42 9.6 and 6 9.8

107 has 183 total graded. 26 9.6 and 4 9.8

 

106 has 84 total. 7 9.6 and only 1 9.8

 

what gives?

105 was part of the Mile High II warehouse stuff, I believe. 107 might have been in there, too. 106 was not.

I don't think ASM 106 is rare or tough in hi-grade. It's just that some surrounding issues have an astounding amount of sumbissions to CGC, which makes this issue look tougher, IMO. Some of that is due to warehouse finds/stacks of say 105 being available, while some of it is due to key/semi-key issues being close in numeric order (looking at #100, 101, 102, 119, 120, 121, 122, 129 specifically).

You think 106 is tough, try to find a high grade 104.

yea your right. by the cgc census they are very similar.

106 does have one 9.8, they both have 7 9.6's
