GTG: ASM 13

got this back a few weeks ago, and im a bit disappointed..what does everyone think?

Hard to make a guess because of the glare, but since that is the point I will try. The spine stress is fairly deep. Combine that with the stains top spine and left edge back cover I will go with VG/FN 5.0. Maybe a slight chance for higher, but the glare...

CGC probably gave it a 4.5.

CGC 6.0--i don't see the stains Dan mentioned -most of the books looks sharp! The spine on this one is tough and I am thinking CGC won't slap it too hard for the wear that is exagerrayed by the black spine. Plus the buyer said he was disappointed and i wouldn't be disapointed with this book graded as a 4.5/5.0!

There looks to be a heavy ding/chip URC of the back cover. I'm guessing that's where the grade got hammered.

Rarely do I get the CGC grade right on the mid-grade...they must be tightening up

how do you spot a color touch...? do like sherlock holmes with a magnifying glass?

What is the serial number on the book? Sometimes the graders notes point out exactly where the color touch is.
