New CGC Label & Magazine Grading

The new issue of CBG (1547 7/11/03) out today has a wright up on the new label that's supposed to be introduced in San Diego this year. It also mentions magazine grading, but gives no date on when it will start.

I guess everyone should start resubmitting their slabs so they can get the new and improved label.

when everyone refers to "magazine" grading - are they refering specifically to comic-magazines, or magazines in general (like cosmopolitan for instance)?

Well I don't know about everyone, but when CGC says it they are referring to "comic-book related magazines, plus Famous Monsters of Filmland".

Yes, this is what the major change was, along with rearranging the lay a bit.
