PGM G.I. Combat #78

24 posts in this topic

Just looked on the census for this book, only 2 graded copies both 6.0. I'll try and figure out how to post larger scans here. If everyone agrees that this book is at least better than a 6.0 I'll send it off to CGC to get graded. This book is impossible to find in high grade.

7.0-7.5 sounds good to me - F'n amazing cover - I'd not seen it before - now I want one.

Don't knock your grading skills paratroooper - I'd take your grades over more than a few major dealers.

EASILY one of the ten best DC war covers of all time. And in my humbe opinion, second only to Our Fighting Forces #71 as the greatest greytone cover all time (and there are days when I flip-flop).

Lovely copy. Let us know how it comes back.

Update, just sent this book to CW to get signed by Russ Heath and then slabbed. Hopefully Russ doesn't handle comics too roughly 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

so if this book is indeed a 7.0 it will be not only the highest graded of this kind but have a nice yellow label to match the gorgeous yellow background. I can't wait!
