62 posts in this topic

What...are you guys crazy? Here's the REAL list. Geez, this is SO obvious:

1) The American Crusader

2) Pyroman

3) The Fighting Yank

4) Doc Strange

5) Captain Future

6) The Liberator

7) The Woman in Red

8) The Secret Ace

9) The American Eagle

10)The Ghost

What...you didn't see the big Hollywood Blockbusters? The Saturday morning cartoons? The 7-11 slurpy cups?

I think I still have the Pyroman slurpy cup somewhere... insane.gif

How could you guys forget Catman?

Good Lord.

Gone from the forum for a few days and it degenerates into chaos.

Golden Age guys.

THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!

DON'T MAKE JOKES.

THIS IS WORLD CHANGING STUFF!

O.K. I'll bite. The original post asked for a now and then.

Golden Age:

1. Superman, who can top him?

2. Batman.

3. The Spirit (free every Sunday, if you buy the paper.)

4. Captain America.

5. Plastic Man.

6. The Human Torch.

7. The Boy Commandos (Yes, sold the same numbers during the War as Supes and Batty. Should be heigher on the list, but I'm too lazy to rewrite.OK, not superheroes, but in The Spirit of the thing.)

8. Wonder Woman.

9. Subby (appeared in many Timely comics, so he must sell.)

10. Green Giant (though he might place higher on this list.)

Modern Age:

1. Spider-Man

2. Superman.

3. Batman.

4. X-Men.

5. Wonder Woman (just 'cause the chicks dig her, and some men.)

6. The Hulk.

7. Daredevil.

8. Neo in the Matrix series (hey, you didn't say Comics heroes.)

9. This is like a cross-word puzzle.

9. The heroes on HEROES. (My new fav show.)

10. The Green Giant.

Regards,

Greg Theakston

Looking for 8.0 or better on GREEN GIANT COMICS. I've got some sweet Golden Age Church copies to trade for this.

Not really.
