I must be missing something...

 

MK must of pm'ed the issues he had with him...

I PMed him before I made the purchase specifically asking him if the Wolverine 1 and 10 were in NM as stated and he said yes, I remember they were really nice.The Wolverine 1 was a 6.0.On top of that all of the books were thrown in a box like a bunch of toys.I was so *spoon* pissed that I didnt want to PM him and start problems and say the wrong things which would get me suspended or banned so I just sent them to my LCS for some credit.

As you can see in the link he stated that the Wolverines are all NM.After inspecting the books I have to say about 10% were so..

Well no matter what the deal is NM is supposed to be NM or very close to it.

 

If the sellers on these boards start to get "eBay Comic Sellers Syndrome" that's when raw sells

here will fall to the wasteland.

 

Any seller here should stand by there grade, no matter what!

man i really got burned this year. well it was only a hundrad. i say only cause i know you can spen a lot more. but i was at the baltimore con and i wanted amazing adventures 11. this guy i have know idea who

it was had this super nice raw 9.2 copy. it was the best looking raw copy at the show. so i got it. when i got it home and took it out there was a 1" x 1" peace about 10 pages deep missing from the bottom right corner. i almost thru up. hahaha it was really a terrible feeling.

it was my fault however. i should have looked at the back. i will not make the same mistake again. at what dollar amount do you guy's take a book out and look at the back cover?

so in the future if i ever buy anything off one of you guy's don't be offended if i ask about the back cover.

Bought a raw Giant Size X-Men #1 advertised as VF+ for $450. The book came back a 6.0 from CGC, and I later sold it for $200 on Ebay.

Another time I got burned was last year when I bought a 9.4 raw 30 days of night 1 for 60 bucks only to open up the book and see that the book was a second printing. I had no clue there was a second printing to the book.

I have yet to get burned significantly. Every time something didn't arrive as planned I have either returned it or gotten a partial refund.

I bought a copy of the demon #11 (I think) it looked nice so I sent it to CGC comes back PLOD 9.4 now WTF is it worth CT a common bronze non-key book.

Sometimes people practice on the cheap books, or are so obsessive compulsive they feel compelled to do it to many comics.

I'll take a $4.00 book out of the bag. The only time I would make an exception is if I'm buying a handful from the same collection, in which case opening half to 2/3 of them would do.
