As someone who collects Marvel squarebonds I've seen just about every problematic issue with them. The spine on this one looks great to me and the damage that this book has (deep crease and abraided corner) is EXTREMELY typical of the poor things.

 

$10 CDN (about $9 US) is a bargain for this book as IMO it's easily a straight 7.0 which would put it at about $16 CDN guide-wise.

 

Nice issue with another one of those crazy Kirby covers!
