And if you don't see those kind of things happening here, you have lost sight of why these discussion have started in the first place!

I can't remember the last time anyone had 4, much less 7, what I would consider to be active threads. Who are all these multi-thread posters? (shrug)

Well, Moondog did about two weeks ago. Three of them were started on the same evening. (thumbs u

See, that was a bunch of postings that were

1) totally cool because the books where really cool

2) by a well respected and level headed member

3) probably done out of simple ignorance and not maliciously

Had moondog been told he probably would not have done it. And without fuss no less.

The rules need to be simple and clear. And they need to be posted as a page before the first post is made (ie before a new thread is created in the selling forum) so that noone can miss them or say they didn't know when their thread gets pulled.

That's an EXCELLENT suggestion.and since no excellent suggestion should pass without an appropriate comment....All violators will be shot in the kneecap on their first offense. All second offenders will be encased in a full body slab and displayed at CGC headquarters.GOD BLESS...

You're more wrong than a big old wrong thing, Roy. :baiting:

Moondog did exactly the same thing a few months prior to this, and was told about it in his various threads, and he went into total and utter meltdown, caling boarders for all sort of things.

And then he came back two weeks ago and repeated his efforts. meh

It also doesn't matter how 'cool' his books are...to a lot of members around here, 1st Print Walking Dead are cool, and to hell with all this GA bollocks. That's very much a subjective judgement call, made on your own preferences.

And just a question...how on earth do you justify starting two seperate threads for mid-grade X-Men #6 and X-Men #49 & #50? :screwy:

Nick I missed all that. Sorry. I just figured gary'd be cool to follow protocol.

I stand e-...er....damn Sam Fox thread....corrected!

Another great reason to have simple rules installed BEFORE a first post is made. To help keep the peace around here between us beloved boardies.

Arch, I understand it's probably tough (as Sal mentioned in an earlier post re: computer code) but it may be easier than always dealing with this shizzle.

How tough/could would it be?

It's so obvious. One is a single digit, the other two are double digits.

Yeah.

I suspect Moondog was giving us the single digit. meh

After reviewing the guidelines I didn't see where a seller should list in the subject line an idea of what is for sale.

I had thought it was always there but it isn't. rantrant

"Comics for Sale" is more annoying than no scans.

Yes, and because of that we get cool titles like, "Naughty Girls Need Love Too." :makepoint:

"Pre-code 40s/50s books for sale! Naughty Girls Need Love Too!"

Why? It's the seller's call what he names his selling thread. If it's something that hurts his sales then that's his problem. No one is forcing you to click on threads... (shrug)
