Fiend , do you have any idea what this book is saleing for in that condtion, I even put the GPA sales to show it. Man all you guys want to do is bash other people but sale your own books, WOW

First of all, the word you are looking for is selling, not saleing. ( in the same vein as your "sale your own books.") Second - nobody is bashing your book, your auction is terrible. Period. GPA has nothing to do with selling a raw book especially one with bad scans, a poor feedback rating, and a $100 price tag.

Here is a prediction - no one is going to bid on your auction again. If you are so confident with the grade - join the Collectors Society, get the 3 free grading coupons, and get the book graded. If you are so confident in the grade, there should be no problem and you will get more than $100 for the book. Otherwise, expect $20 to $30 on eBay.

By the way , this little community here is very experienced and have seen our share of newbies with the typical "near mint auction and look at these prices!." Listen to the people around here, there is a lot to learn.

Guy, it is just plain foolish to assume that you would get anywhere near GPA prices for a RAW copy that is being sold by a BRAND-NEW eBay seller with small, fuzzy auction pictures and a description using silly "Send it to CGC" hype. All sarcasm aside, if you want to get a decent price for your book then take our suggestions to heart: Most of us here are experienced buyers and sellers, both on eBay and this board...we know what we are talking about. (Hint...your first auction ended with no bids, remember!?)

So drop the irrelevant GPA data, replace your fuzzy pics with some large, clear scans and lower your starting bid WAY down...you can always set a reserve price if there is a certain amount you need to get out of the book.

Oh and by the way, if you want to sell it on THIS forum...you definitely need to lose the "CGC it" baloney.

In WHAT condition? It's a blurry picture, the book is still in its sleeve, and all anyone has to go on is your word and your EBay feedback. Out of 3 feedback responses, one is a resounding negative. Most people bidding on EBay are looking to buy from people with solid reputations, all of whom have return policies on such books unless they are actually CGC'ed.

And that's the kicker: Why don't YOU send the book to CGC and get it slabbed if it's so nice?

Even from the cropped closeup photo you added, the spine suggests 9.0 tops, assuming nothing else is wrong with the book. There's also a dark dot in the black of the "X" which would concern me... confused-smiley-013.gif
