I have stopped buying 9.6's for now......I'm buying less frequently due to my wife watching my spending habits a little more closely........Also, I think that most of these comics will show up in 9.8 eventually. I can't handle the premiums that you guys pay for 9.8s (It would put me in the poor house). I mostly settle for 9.4s to 9.6s. I can usually handle those. My problem is usually miswraps or OFF-WHITE pages . I've been mostly filling in what I'm missing out of the (what is it?) 115 books. Mostly 9.4s. After I complete the hero portion then I'll worry about upgrading. Some I won't need to... like the DC100PSS #16 CGC 9.6 Don Rosa. Perfect in my book in every way (well to my standards). Problem books for me are the DC100PSS series itself. Examples 4, 7, 8, & 9. When I find them, the books are too low on the CGC scale or too high. I have 2 9.0s, 8 9.2s, 44 9.4s, and 11 9.6s. 65 books total but 5 are doubles (So technically 60). Action Comics #437 (I have a CGC 9.0 and just picked up a 9.4 with writing on it ) DC100PSS #10 Adventure Comics CGC 9.2 Don Rosa (just picked up a 9.4 from readywit (Thanks wit and tober) DC100PSS #18 Superman CGC 9.2 (just picked up a 9.6 off the"CLink") Superman Family #168 (I have 2 9.4s - One with White Pages and 1 with Off-White to White) Witching Hour #38 CGC 9.2 Don Rosa (just picked up a 9.4 from Ice (Kudos) That's where I'm at right now. When I'm traveling, any computer will tell me what I need, no more wondering " do I have that book or not"....and other reasons too. As to paying too much, I will probably hold these into retirement, maybe never sell them. I may or may not get my money back, but I love collecting them, and I don't have to upgrade later.
