Captain Atom was last seen popping up rather mysteriously in the pages of Superman/Batman after having sacrificed himself to save the earth from a Kryptonite meteor, and now he’s back in a whole different universe! After a singularly weird journey, Captain Atom finds himself a stranger in a strange land and quickly finds himself in trouble with the local superheroes with his explosive arrival. All that, and the classic gold and red costume is back! All this begs one big question, though: why? Will Pfeifer and Giuseppe Camuncoli have all their answers, but the first issue is a mere teaser of the action and mystery to come!
