Bronze Age Thanos Appreciation Thread

Since they started a Green Lantern 76 thread; I say we start our own Thanos thread. Will he be THE books to own this year? Will Thanos rocket to super stardom? Will the books...aw, who cares. Post em if you got them.

I bought a beautiful issue (probably a 9+) for $5 at a show, the seller really didn't know it was a key book. I read it but didn't really like it so I flipped it for alot more then $5 haha.

I believe that I finished my collection of all bronze Thanos appearances. I have the following:

I also have Iron Man #88 which has a flashback with Thanos.

Personally, I think this is one of the most overated BA books out there.

 

I tend to agree as its kind of a lame cover.

The big problem is obviously, that Thanos is not on the front cover.

 

There is also various misinformation surrounding this book that "Thanos is only in a few panels", but he's actually prominent throughout, and is featured on more pages (8 or 9, I believe - including an awesome full-body shot) than most other "first appearances".

 

If Thanos was on the cover, in a classic pose, with both Iron Man and The Destroyer in his clutches, the price of that book would triple overnight.
