I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! :foryou:

 

4 days of cooking, presents, family, games, playing, singing, sleeping!!

Same here, you can't beat it :cloud9:

 

I attempted the Feast of 7 fishes but only got to 5, but I made the greatest (IMHO) cheesecake ever. Did a pan fried scallops and grilled shrimp in a nice tangy dressing for appetizer.

 

Christmas was the family tradition of standing rib roast.

what was best of all, as we went upsatairs to put the kids to bed, my son Thomas looked at me, thinking hard and responded with; "I think that was my best day ever".

and then, when he was in bed, he asked me if I was going to be home the next day; I said yes I was. He then told me that I was not allowed to cook, or clean or do yard work; just play.
