So I was thinking today that I'd count Machine Gun Etiquette as one of my Top 10 Rock Records of all time. Haven't listened to it lately, just started thinking about it. What do the folks across the pond think?

 

I remember buying it when it came out. It was the Damned's comeback record with Sensible switching to guitar after James's departure and it was great to see them return. One of the defining albums of that era, with the band hitting on a new sound which would carry them into the post-punk period.

 

Must've played it endlessly at the time.
