GUESS THE GRADE

32 posts in this topic

Would be NM without the tiny tear to the bottom of the spine, seen on the back cover.

So I could see this book slammed to a VF+ crazy.gif

Would a bindery tear like that on a otherwise NM, or NM+ book

get down graded that much? I know we'll find out soon enough,

I'm just curious.

I'm refering to my Overstreet guide.

Is that a bindery tear? Is there a telltale give away? Looked like a problem corner to me ... I'll jump in with an 8.5. She's a beaut!

Hmmm. good question. Can I get a call on the BRC please?

Maybe a factory spine split that got worse with handling.... 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

i'm calling a 9.4 on the X-Men 109 (sweet book by the way) and a "you already posted it in the slab so i can't guess in good conscience" on the Godzirra

I think the tear on the bottom of the spine knocks this otherwise 9.2/9.4 book down to a 9.0

There's a NCB crease/impression on the back cover that runs from just below the 'T' in 'DUTY' down to the roof of the red van.

Full grade point seems fair. thumbsup2.gif

I can't see the creases either. That's the best VF+ I've

seen also.

Possible. It would be interesting to see the notes and see

what CGC calls this. Thanks for posting these. A free

education: you just can't beat.
