Has it been slabbed in another life?? It has an odd inner ring to it clearly seen on the back and you can see the inside ads coming through on the front?

See some fraying in the upper left, a bit of a bump right under who I assume is Odin's shoulder. Maybe a wee bit up a tick by the upper staple ... other than that not much wrong.

 

I could go to 8.0 on this, particularly if I held it in my hand and it felt as nice as it looks in the scan.

 

I remember another book a couple of weeks ago and I commented about the transparent cover and someone said that Metropolis sometimes puts that paper in books it sells.
