I need help putting pictures into ebay listings

I feel like a fool since some helpful soul gave me very nice instructions last summer as to how to do that, but I allowed the message to became stale-dated in my ebay messages and it got deleted.

 

I am not talking about putting the free picture of the "12 picture pack" on an ebay listing. I am talking about using photobucet or some such thing and embedding pictures into the text so you end up with a nice document describing books and then -- voila -- the picture appears within the text.

 

As I recall it sounded simple but I do not recall enough of the info to do it,

 

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you upload a picture into Photobucket, it gives you the HTML tag.

 

Example:

 

<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/Dave0126/GA_Batman/smallBatman68.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

 

To show the picture in your listing just use the <img src> part of the code.

Okay, I officially feel like a *spoon*. I put the info as instructed in the text of the listing, but it doesn't show up. Is there some other place I am supposed to put it.. As a backup I put the picture from my file in the "free" picture section, but now I have this html text in the middle of my listing. I am wanting to do this so I can put a boatload of pics in a listing and not just the 12 they offer. Any help appreciated.

FYI, in case anybody cares, this is what it looks like. And I know that's not right.

Try deleting the most outside pair of double quote marks and pic may link properly.
