I use Mag bags, then fold and tape them to fit snug

I use the just-a-folds or something similar that's archival that I picked up from a library supply house. I also use large bags for tpbs, H/Cs, etc. Bud Plant has a great selection of sizes of bags and just-a-folds, and I think he has archival ones as well. A few years back, I quit screwing around with modifying bag sizes and just bought a hundred of every comic/magazine bag Bud Plant stocked. He has a free shipping event a few times a year. Seems like there is something odd-sized that comes out about once a month.

That's exactly what I do. It keeps the dust off the top of the book, which can be a problem within a year or two on a book shelf. It's a good way to preserve the resale value of the arcives or just to keep them pristine.
