Has anyone seen these before?

I just purchased these books on ebay. They are similar to the Weatherbird and shoestore giveaways, but these are tailored to Archie comics and have an ad on the back cover. They also have a price. I assume that they were a way to recycle stripped books, but... The comics themselves are from the late '50s. Anybody know anything about these?

And did the cover reference the contents like the ones I posted do?

Yup. Pretty much exactly the same, only red ink. They were in a CBM once. Gary Carter had never seen them.

I believe there are at least 4 DC ones with the white wraparound cover. Ian Levine should have all 4 by now.
