How would you grade this GS Dracula #5, printers ink on top

Hi, I'm curious how the group would grade this copy of Giant Size Dracula #5 (first Byrne Marvel art!) It's got a 3/4 inch stripe of black ink across the top edge.

 

What does that ink on top do to the grade by itself?

Is that distribution ink? Looks like a VF to me..

7.5 maybe 8.0 but the lower right edge looks a bit rough.

The cover overhangs the right edge of the pages a little and the lower part of it has been pushed down from thumbing through the book

My ASM 102 had ink overspray like this and was in similar condition. CGC canned it a 7.5 I think that your book has less ink run which might get it into the 8.0, to 8.5 range. Hard to say how much they took off, but looks like at least a grade in my case, but angain there was more spillage.

i don't think CGC downgrades for ink overspray same as when a book is grossly off-centered. steve, if your reading this, am i correct?
