Comic Book newb needs help!

Hello all,

 

I am helping a friend who has recently aquired a large collection of comics. She bought a guide, but we are struggling a bit at pricing some of these reprints. They are reprints of (i guess), the first superman, shazam and batman. They say famous 1st edition By DC. Inside that cover is another cover form the actual original 1st editions from back in the 30's and 40's. I believe the reprints are from the 70's era. Is anyone familiar with these reprints? Please Help! Thanks
