Both are great books, but Cap 1 is dead as a doornail, easy to find, and quite often sells for less than guide. I'd take the Tec 29 first, the rest of the DC Gold I want, probably some other Golden Age comics, and then a Cap 1.

Detective 29 for me! It's got one of the greatest covers of the Golden Age and very tough to find in any kind of condition in contrast to Captain America 1 which is not that hard to find. The Detective 29 always sells for way over guide too!

I'd snag the Captain America 1. Despite being easier to get, it's just a more interesting book all around for me.
