restored books and the census

5 posts in this topic

I am gong to be selling my PLOD Brave and Bold 28. It is one of five books graded restored 8.5. There is one nonrestored and one restored book that grade higher. My question is- Can I rightfully say only two books are graded higher,or do you think the lower nonrestored books are really higher graded. Does a nonrestored 6.5 book out grade a restored 8.5 book. I know the nonrestored book is worth more but that is not what I'm asking.

No, I don't have a scanner. Can send you one if you are interested. We spoke on this book a few months ago on a different thread. It has a reglossed cover and you were telling me the ramifications of such. Picked it up from Maestronet about 18 months ago if you can access their archives. It is a real pretty looking book.

...what does "PLOD" mean?

Purple Label of Death

Purple Label of Doom

Whichever you like... CGC's Purple Restored Label... meaning the price

will probably be a fraction of the Universal Blue Label price.
