Because of the general wear on this copy, I wouldn't think a qualfied label would apply for the blown staple on a bronze age book. I would deduct for the flaw and say 5.5

Yeah it's a 7.5 - 8.0 without the pop (the scans DO exaggerate flaws sometimes)

but I have it around a 5.5 as well...
