I think an 8.0-8.5.

 

Care to elaborate?

Front cover is great!

Fugly back cover

looks like small chip out of the bottom BC

Small nick top of BC

Staple indentation bottom staple

Some noticable spine stresses

Soiled back cover and general lack of sharpness.

I've seen 9.4's with wear from the staples on both the FC and BC. Are the wrinkles from glue or wear? Either way I am leaning at 8.5/9.0.

 

See, that's the thing. I've seen this also. I've heard that CGC doesn't penalize too harshly for staple issues on these squarebound books. confused-smiley-013.gif

If the only defect is a little bit of wear caused from the inside staples, then yes, chances are pretty good it would grade in the 9.2/9.4 range
